WOW!! This Malictele 4 Pin, 5 Wire Trailer Wiring Harness Kit is much heavier duty than any other trailer wiring harness I have used before. The black PVC sheathing is very protective which is very beneficial on my trailer where there are some sharp metal areas where the trailer wiring needs to run. With 26 feet of wire, there was plenty for my 8 x 5 foot utility trailer. The lights worked great after the installation of this wiring harness. If you need a heavy duty, well protected wiring harness, this is the kit you need to get.

Got this to re-wire a small trailer that we have. The existing lights and such are good, but the wiring was a mess, so all i needed was this and a bit of work to get a perfectly operating trailer!! The wire is longer than i suspect you'd need most of the time, as anything longer than this wire would probably have brakes, and thus you'd use a different wiring kit. Really saved me a lot of time having this setup, and with the extra casing on the wiring for each side, it'll last alot longer too!

This wiring harness is 16 AWG where as most are 18 AWG. This heavier wire can carry more amperage.Stranded Copper wireNice outer sheathing of PVC vs most using a mesh or no cover for the wire bundles. This PVC Sheathing is higher quality and will stay cleaner in the long run.This is one of the longer Trailer Wiring I have seen at 26 ft long will work for many rewired projects.My application is for setting up my Towed (TOAD) vehicle behind an RV. This involves connecting to the Towed vehicles existing tail lights using Diodes (Not included with this wiring harness) and I'll have to cut off the 4 prong connector of this harness to connect to a 6 pin connector on the front of the Towed vehicle. If your looking to do similar and look at companies like Demco or Road master their wiring kits are a lot of money for what you get. This Malictele wiring harness is a Big step up in quality at a lot less cost.5 stars for quality and value. Compare to others and you will see. personal 2 thumbs up.

This was specifically ordered due to the larger guage of wire, which a lot of competitors don't have. I think a lot of them use 18 gauge, which is smaller than this one, at 16 guage. I'm actually going to be using this to help me wire up some tractor headlights on my antique tractor. But I recently wired a flatbed trailer and this would have worked well for that also. Happy to recommend.

I have done my fair share of trailer rewires and when I was looking for a new harness, I did a lot of reading and researching. I found this set that had a heavier gauge wire. When I unboxed it you can definitely tell this was made good!

The thick jacketed cable is a game changer. I have used many different models with mesh like coverings and this is built to last. zero water penetration and seem very high abrasion resistance.
