Every so often I like to try to sprout my avocado seeds. I typically use the toothpick method with varying success. These little starter racks make it super easy to start your avocados without having to resort to toothpicks. The racks are made of good-quality metal that doesn't bend. They fit various jars and cups I've accumulated. I am glad I purchased this set of starter racks and would purchase again if the need arises; I would also gift them to fellow plant enthusiasts.

These are good racks for starting an avocado. It's much easier than sticking toothpicks into the seed, to keep it from dropping too much into the water. They're bigger than I expected, but that's probably because they can be used for all avocado pits, no matter how large. They balance nicely on the neck of a bottle or vase.
