4 Pack threaded star type square tubing insert 1/4-20 threads. Fits 1" outside diameter tubing with 16/18 gauge wall thickness. Provided with a zinc plated finish. Metal star type inserts are designed to insert inside steel tubular legs. External edges fit flush with the outside edge of the tubing for a clean, finished appearance.

The bottom cross bar's square tubing inserts rusted out. This worked perfectly. I used a hammer to lightly tap it in and it fits in tight. I got four replacement screws (1/4-20) at home deport. I would get the 2".Overall it's an easy project even if your not that handy,

This worked great. Went to Home Depot and purchased some 1" square tubing and ordered these to attach it to the grill.
