I bought the name brand thinking it would stick. I was wrong. It's not bad, but it certainly isn't a very sticky duct tape. And I've used a lot of them.

This stuff is super thin. Feels very cheap compared to normal duct tape.

This product is made in China. That is why it is cheaper ($15 versus $18) than another 3M set on Amazon made in Canada. This one is also thicker (6 mils versus 5 mils) than the set made in Canada. It is shorter (50 yards versus 55 yards) than the set made in Canada. But you can see the roll is greater in diameter even so. The length is about 10% shorter but the thickness is about 20% greater. I can find no difference in strength or adhesion but the Canadian-made one is shinier.

Good tape, though not as thick or durable of “normal” duct tape. Good for small jobs.
