What a time-saver! Instead of using separate tools for cutting, grinding, and storing, this one does it all. The stainless steel blade cleanly slices even my thick vitamin tablets without chipping.

I have a couple hard pills and supplements like magnesium that are very large. This works great to cut them in half so they are easier to manage or dose. I wish it had a replaceable blade, but for the price I am not complaining. The grinder probably won't be used by me but it's a neat feature to have in case.

I'll start by saying this pill crusher is very good for crushing pills. It uses a screwing method, so you don't need any major arm strength. It might be difficult for people with arthritis, or gripping issues. But, if you can screw the lid on or off a jar, you should be able to use the crusher part of this little gadget.Sadly, I had to drop a star for the pill cutter part. It works okay for some pills, but for harder pills it falls short. I tried a calcium/magnesium pill, and it wouldn't cut it at all. It only left a small line in the pill. I even tried placing t on a low table to put some weight into it, and it still wouldn't cut the pill. I tried different sized pills, too. It works fine for average and larger sized pills (not the hard ones). But when I tried to cut a pill in quarters, the pill would slip and end up with a slice off one end instead of being cut in half. I tried uncut small pills with similar results. For some reason the smaller pills just don't say in place. I should also note that the pill cutter part does require arm strength.It comes with a little storage compartment hidden under the pill cutter. I keep my pills either in their original containers or in a sorter, so, I have no use for it. But, I wanted to mention it in case others have a use for it. The size of this pill crusher gadget is fairly convenient, too. Especially for the twisting motion needed to crush pills. Like I said before, the crushing part works great, and is why I'm giving it 4 stars.

Works well for cutting pills. did not try the crusher. You can split it down as many times as needed (I broke them down into quarters), the blade cuts the pills cleanly with a light chop on the lid.

First of all, the grinder is GREAT! It ground the pill down to the finest grade that I've ever seen using a pill grinder. I'm guessing it's because both the basin and the grinder are metal. The pill is just ok to me. There's nothing to hold the pill in place and so it's hard to get an even cut since the pill can move out of place once the blade comes down. It IS sharp though. My clumsy behind accidentally cut my thumb on it so I know lol. If the cutter was better this would be a 5 star product. The metal grinder is what steals the show.

Used it to crush my dog's med, works great. But sometimes some powder sticks to the medicine hammer，this one comes with a small brush that can easily brush off the powder and clean it well
