It is a beautiful tray, but the wood is not well finished… it had a whole strand of rough wood along side…. I returned because of this

The first board I received was chipped. The box was ripped so I just assumed it was due to that but I think it was a return after I received the replacement. The replacement board had a terrible odor. Waiting to see if it goes away, but the smell even made the room where I had left the box stink. I’m a bit concerned about putting food on something that smells so bad. If I keep it, I’ll put wax paper on the board versus food directly on the board.

This charcuterie board is enormous. This is one that would be used for large parties or gatherings. The wood is so pretty. It has some weight to it but then again it is 3' long. Good value for the price.
