Great upgrade for a grizzly 90

I bought this shock to replace the stock rear shock on my boys Yamaha Grizzly 90. If you own one you know how “soft” they are. This rear shock from amazon is absolute garbage. It has no shock to it at all. It is literally a big huge super stiff spring that bounces back very quickly. I installed it and took it for a quick ride “220 lbs rider” and it beat the guts right out of me. Absolutely horrible. Looks cool but garbage. Functionality is garbage.

It is for sure more of a stiff shock but is much better for a heavier rider on smaller quad. I used this on my son’s 2021 Yamaha Raptor 90. It bolts right in with no issues. The stock shock for these quads bottom out with me or my wife riding so I ordered this and it did in exactly what we need.

Good design and quality I would have relly liked the look but unfortunately it didn’t fit as intended for my ATV like the description stated. So I returned it and was all good with that.

I bought this for a Yamaha blaster ATV. It holds the weight really well. Just buyer beware if you use a bracket to raise or lower the lift of the ATV these will snap in half like butter. As long as you’re mounting to the factory mount points you’ll be fine. I’ve never seen a shock crack in half but this one did, only because I used an extender which put pressure in a strange direction that the shot couldn’t handle. If it’s a factory OEM replacement it will hold the weight really well.

Works great on my kids Yamaha Grizzly 90. No more sagging (the owners of Grizzly 90 know what I mean) it was a bit stiff at the beginning but after a few good rides it feels great (or we got use to it 😁).

Bought this to replace my blown atv shock . It’s a bit better but not much . So stiff it barely moves and I’m 250 lbs . Tried to let air out of that valve but it seems to be there just for show , it’s empty ( there was no air in it to begin with ) and still the shock is as stiff as could be .

Replaced the rear shock on my sons 2021 Yamaha grizzly 90. If your not aware they can’t hold any weight and sag tremendously. This shock is an exact fit and even holds my 250 lb self perfectly. It is a little stiff, hoping some riding will soften it up. And of course there is adjustability.

This shock is amazing, installed it on my wife's little yamaha raptor 90 that she uses to follow our little 4 year old on her quad. Stock suspension on the 90 would sack out with even a 100lb person on it. This baby won't even budge with me on it and I weigh 260. Great simple shock.
