Convenient use
Just Press down the soft silicone button to turn on the 3 white LED lights for usual magnified observation, press again to 3 UV lights for money detector magnifier. Press the third time to turn off the light.

I am using this to go through the coin collection my father gave me. Some of the coins are really worn and the 20X didn't quite give enough detail. This little device for the price was well worth it. I can see dates on some coins from mid 1800's. Only complaint at this point is the battery will die out quickly. But just plug it in for a couple hours and the lights are super bright

Was looking for an illuminated loupe with 40x magnification and there are quite a few on Amazon with similar descriptions. This seemed to be a good choice and works very well. Nice that it is rechargeable rather than using a bunch of coin batteries. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the description said it had a hinged base which it does not - it is fixed which makes viewing some things a bit awkward.

Great value for the money, although it would be a lot better if it had an added manual focus capability and an automatic off for the LED lamps. Heavier than the classic Caprock loupe I have carried around for 30+ years, but having the built in lights is worth it. Just be prepared to also carry some extra LR936 batteries, as if you are like me you will forget to turn off the lamps and wonder why they won't turn on the next time you need them. Large field of view suitable for evaluating inkjet digital printing.
