I got the assorted package including 10 m6, 10 m8, and 10 m10 knob nuts. They appear to be well constructed in all sizes. The threads are smooth, and I did not note any sharp edges on the plastic knobs either. They spin freely and lock up tight on the bolts I used.I like that these are a good price at $10 for 30 knobs, and I like that they are tool-less. I am using them for my solar panel mounts, and I am using them for the adjustable arms that control the angle. I don’t have my panels permanently mounted, so I like to fold the arms down and then they lay flat. Normally I would have to use a socket and loosen the nuts. With these I can put them on and off by hand, allowing me to fold up the panels for storage. It also allows me to change the angle to maximize the sun, all doing this without any tools.

This 30 pack of star knobs is pretty awesome. I ended up receiving three of the most common metric sizes for such items and they are made to my satisfaction. These are not going to be used ins high torque applications as the knobs are for hand tightening only. I believe the inserts are seated well enough to handle any task I hand out with these. I have owned and used other types of knobs like this and these ones are as good if not better than anything else I've purchased in the past. I don't have any problem recommending these to anyone who needs such hardware.I am happy with my order and I hope this was helpful. ✔️ Thanks!
