I got these to use with my Gheenoe and kayak. They are not load rated but are plenty strong for my uses. So far they seem like they are truly stainless so they will work for me.

The SMTUNG 304 Stainless Steel D shackles have adequate strength to drag large prunings to my burn pile using a rope with a loop joined to a chain by one of these shackles. I surely has taken a load off my back!
