These lead tube jig heads are good quality and have a heavy duty wide gap hook that is sharp. The shape of the lead head fits perfectly inside a normal sized tube worm which helps concentrate most of the weight near the front of the jig head. The wide gap hooks are a 3/0 in size which is great for tube jig bodies which tend to be bulky so a larger sized hook is needed so the barb can be exposed. Therer are other style jig heads such as round ones that can also be used with tube jigs but this tear drop shape is the most popular and effective when used with tube jig bodies. Based upon the quality and design of these tube jig heads I recommend them to other anglers who fish with tube jigs.

The jig heads are 3/0 with 1/4 oz which is tear dropped shape. I only wish the eyelet was one solid piece as I had to squeeze some of them more tightly closed, not a real problem. I use 4-1/2” tube some made of silicone or latex, I cut my own, and have a few different colors that I set up. The box comes with 20 hooks and are nicely boxed. They are black nickel and carbon steel. To be honest I’m really surprised at the price being so competitive and the quality of the jigs. I can also see the ease of putting on wacky worm lures. They also have different weights, so I will be purchasing more of them. I normally pay more for a 10 pack.I also got another set of tube jugs with treble hook set up.Great set up for my tubes, these jigs, easily let me slide my tube baits on and the treble hooks on the end that are already hooked on made my job much easier, no extra leader had to be put on for treble hooks which I always use for bass, when I’m surf casting. Having the belly ring on it also allows me to put the tube bait in easily and then reattach the lower table hook. It couldn’t be any easier and the wight design allows for easy coverage under the tube. Most of the time I use 3,5” tubes and these jigs fit perfectly. Really a good price for a 10 piece set, especially with all the hook locations. I’ll definitely be buying more.

As much as I love fishing, I am always needing jig heads for bass fishing. These fit my needs as they are quality made and weighted. When you look closely, the weights are at the top, offering a daggling movement to attract attention. The plastic tubes that you put on over the hooks is quite easy to do and it holds nicely in place. The jigs heads definitely need to be held with caution as the hooks are razor sharp so my only suggestion is to hold it with a pliers when putting on a plastic tubes. This is a great value for the quality and number of hooks in the plastic case.

Oh nobody loves the lowly anymore! These jig heads work just great. They are cleanly molded with sharp hooks and the style of the hook makes setting the hook easier on bigger fish. The curvature of the hook points the tip back exactly where the line attaches to the jig so that when you go to set the hook it pulls straight behind the line like it should. The lead heads are cleanly molded and nicely finished and the wire is well coated for durability. This is first rate tackle, if you like to use a tube jig (and you should because they catch a lot of fish_) this is a great set.

These jig heads are unique in that they add a lot of weight to the hook allowing me to throw light lures farther. Very useful with soft plastics.

I really enjoy fishing with tube jigs. Bass absolutely smash them with the right combo of tail and movement in the water. In addition to using hollow body tubes, I have placed these in some larger powerbaits by cutting the body open and gluing it shut. The hook shape also allows for a weedless set-up. Haven't tried it yet, but I've seen other folks do it.In addition to bass, panfish and pike should like these too. Maybe even trout and salmon with the right color tail.

There isn't too much to say about this. It works well and I was able to get good use out it. I don't have much to add but perhaps that's good. There is nothing of issue and I am using it well.
