Don't buy this unless you're confident enough to machine it as needed. I needed this cover ASAP, and this was the fastest one I could get. It looks very nice, but the tolerances are off. I has to machine quite a bit out of the fuel pump arm tunnel. The pump would not fit without grinding a lot out of the top of the tunnel (pictures). Also, several of the bolt holes need to be tapped out as they aren't threaded properly. Then, after it was on the engine, it took quite a bit to get it to seal. It looks straight, but the back of the plate is slightly bowed and off. If you need to just bolt this on and go, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

Very nice quality and fitment for my 1964 289. It did require a newer and upgraded waterpump but I knew it ahead of ordering and I replaced the old oil dipstick.
