Not the longest lasting I've used but they were the best deal I've seen. I'm a contractor and have been using blades like this for over 40 years. These are a good quality blade and believe me I put them though hell and they worked well.

Sometimes it's good to have blades that are basically throw-away. These kind of fall into that category. They are sharp enough for long enough to get small jobs done. When I was cutting some steel pipe (in pic) it worked ok at first, and after the 2nd pipe that was cut there was a perceived difference in the time it was taking to make the cuts. Using different areas of the blade helps it live longer. It's a slower, but steadier cut in wood. The teeth (14/18tpi) are a bit fine for wood, and it requires me to stop and get rid of sawdust more often. but, of course, the blade lasts longer.

I cut a piece of 1/4" wall rectangular steel tube with a couple of pieces of plate welded to it, and the blade I used handled the deliberately tough job quite well... (It did better than the cordless saw I was using, which overheated and shut down multiple times) I felt the blade cut as well as any similar blades I've used in the past. It did not have any problems cutting through the heavy weld beads or the rest of the steel. While not surprisingly it wore most of the paint off the blade, the teeth still look fairly decent - they obviously have some wear but are not 'fried' or broken to the point where I wouldn't be totally willing to use the blade for more cutting. At a little over a dollar per blade these are well worth the price - a quick check of other listing shows that these are among the lower priced blades, and I'd put them up against the far more expensive big name brand blades I've used any time....

I’ve been pleased with these blades for the cost. They work well on both wood and metal, holding up fine for general cutting jobs without wearing out too quickly. It’s nice to have a bulk pack so I don’t worry about going through them as often. While they might not last quite as long as higher-end brands, they’re a solid choice if you’re looking to get the job done without breaking the bank.

The Bi-metal designation really makes sense with these blades, they do both but not as well as dedicated blades do.The teeth on these blades are in between, they don't cut wood as well as larger teeth blades, and they don't last as long as dedicated metal cutting blades, but these will do both at a much cheaper cost then brand name blades from a big store. The type of saw used also plays a big role, smaller saws will not do as well when cutting wood with nails and will be slower on wood, while larger and especially corded saws will do much, much better with these blades. While occasional tree branch trimming jobs will be fine, for smaller battery powered saws it really would be better to get shorter and dedicated blades, for wood or metal, but for larger saws, these blades are great.Bulk pack of 30 blades is a way to go for the asking price.

They call these bi-metal, which of course means that they can be used for wood and/or metal. These are a pretty fine tooth count, so they're probably not ideal for strictly wood cutting. One interesting feature is of these is the rounded end. I'm not clear why they did this, but assume it's to protect poking through material that may be near it, because a lot of blades like this have a more pointed end. It does seem like there's a reason for it though, especially since it's not just rounded, but has a notch in it too. This is a pack of 30, which is 5 more than I typically see of a multi-pack, which tends to be 25. It's a pretty heavy pack though, which surprised me. The product description says there's 8% cobalt in these, and that should improve durability quite a bit. They do seem to hold up well, maybe a bit better than your typical blade. Overall, these are quite capable, and perfectly good blades at a fair price. I'd get them again, especially if I had concerns about a pointed end blade hitting something on the other side.

The cost of reciprocating saw blades have gotten out of control. Two blades can easily exceed $50 at your local box store. So I'm constantly looking for bulk deals of quality blades. When I saw this one, I jumped. Thirty bi-metal blades in the common length of 6" sounded like a no-brainer. They arrived and I tried one out and it fit both of my saws without a problem and cut through both metal and wood like it was butter. I'll keep an eye out for more bulk deals from this seller.

A blade needs to cut (obviously) and hopefully last for multiple cuts. These blades work well in both criteria. The cuts were smooth and effortless in cutting pipe stock, and they lasted well for the lightweight work I was doing. The 30 pack is convenient for us since we do disaster response and are usually demo-ing multiple structures over the days we work. The price (as of 17 Oct 2024) was about $1.17 per blade, not a bargain, but about average for quality blades.
