I purchased this as an exit fan for my laser engraver. It works well, but should use a dedicated power supply with at least 3A of starting current. It also gets noisy on startup after a lot of smoke use. I question it's use as a bilge fan over time.

Way bigger than I expected

I got this in November and it quit working in March. I can tap it and it will run for a minute then it slows down and stops. I am using it in a 5th wheel to vent the cat box. I don't know if it is water resistant, but it doesn't seem to be cat stink resistant.
