Item description is not correct. These are supposed to be stainless steel and have a high polish Finnish according to the material description. They are dull and magnetic.. these pull a magnet like mild steel across the whole piece.

Perfect fit, locked into place, and was super easy to install. I used this to complete the installation of long tube headers on my 2014 RAM 5.7 HEMI. The long tube headers are not direct bolt-in replacements using the factory exhaust. If you're like me, you like options. This gives me a chance to swap between exhaust components without welding or cutting. Make sure you're measuring your exhaust correctly. If you order the wrong size, don't blame the seller.

The diagram is misleading. I have provided a picture for reference. If you have rotted pipe and cut away the rot, you cannot use this product as a sleeve to bridge the gap if your pipe has an outer diameter of 2.75" (70mm) I have to tell you that I was not at all happy to find this out the hard way. This product would have been a great idea had it worked. But I spent money on something that overall, did not work. I did however manage to use the clamp supplied the bridge two couplers I bought at the local auto store. What was left over were the two coupler ends. I feel it necessary to inform you as a potential buyer, so that you don't make the same mistake I did.

Worked good. Both sides are 2.5 od. The picture shows one side 2.5 id but that is wrong.

I'm using this to repair a broken section in my Mercedes exhaust. One of the Flange parts at a sealing ring had corroded and broken off. I believe the exhaust is stainless so I wanted stainless to repair it.I was pleasantly surprised at how heavy these parts feel. They feel like real exhaust pipe, not cheap and thin. I checked with a magnet and the magnet hardly sticks, sticks a little bit around the flares so im pretty sure it's stainless.I measured the short ends and I'm getting 60mm ID/63mm OD. Which is what I was looking for, this will be installed over the existing exhaust pipe in my project. I have odd size exhaust pipes.Note- This will NOT fit over 2.5" OD pipe. The ID of this pipe is 60mm. For 2.5" OD pipe it will have to be welded.
