  • Intelligently discharging LiPo battery to storage voltage via built-in MCU and temperature sensor.
  • High discharging rate in an appropriate temperature range.
  • Heatsink to help cool down the unit to prevent the unit from overheating.
  • Plug-in and leave it alone because of ultra-low leakage current when reaching storage voltage.
  • Be compatible with 2S to 6S batteries and can automatically recognize them.

Why choose VIFLY StoreSafe LiPo Discharger?

VIFLY StoreSafe is a tiny lipo discharger that focuses on convenience and reliability, plug-in and forget it is our original intention when designing it. Via the built-in MCU and temperature sensor, VIFLY StoreSafe can detect 2S-6S battery automatically and discharge it with the highest discharging efficiency in an appropriate temperature ranger. It brings a 2s/450mah lipo to storage voltage in approx 1.5 hours and 3s/1300mah in approx 6 hours. In addition, the added heatsink can help cool down the unit to prevent overheating.

Main Features:

Intelligently Discharging LiPo Battery to Storage Voltage

With the advanced algorithm and built-in temperature sensor, VIFLY StoreSafe lipo battery discharger can intelligently adjust the discharge speed according to the battery voltage and unit temperature. It ensures the highest discharge rate in an appropriate temperature range.

Heatsink to Cool Down the Discharger

In addition to the built-in temperature sensor to control the unit temp, the heatsink would effectively dissipate the heat to prevent the discharger from overheating.

Automatically Identity 2S to 6S Batteries

When plug in, VIFLY StoreSafe would recognize the battery type (2S-6S) automatically, no need to do any extra setting, so simple and convenient.

Easy-to-use, Plug-in and Leave it Alone

The StoreSafe will stop discharging when your battery reaches storage voltage and then goes into an ultra-low leakage current so the unit can be left for long time without over-discharging the battery. Just plug in and leave it alone.

Specification:

Working Voltage: 7.9 - 26V(2S-6S)

Discharging Power: 1W

Discharging Time: 1.5 hours(2S 450mah) / 6 hours(3S 1300mah)

Turn-off Current:

Storage Voltage: 3.85V±0.08V / cell

Reminder: Please discharge the battery in a good heat dissipation condition.

I ordered two sets of these. After i plugged them in, they correctly identified the number of cells in the battery. A couple of them even got a little warm but, after a few minutes, they turned off and got cold. Battery voltage was still near peak and nothing else happened- I left it connected to the battery for two days. I can’t return one of the sets because I not longer have the original package, I am returning the other set. Bad buy, none of them worked as advertised.

Works as expected but, it's only good for smaller lipos ,on the 3s and 4s it will takes forever to get to storage value.

These are awesome! I've been using them on 3S 7500mAh Lipo's and they work perfectly. The lights indicate the cell count of the battery, then they stay on while discharging. You can feel the heatsink heat up and maintain a steady draw. When the cell voltage is down to 3.8XV the lights shut off and the unit quits discharging the battery. They really are plug in and forget. From full to storage charge it did take about 26hours, but that's fine with me.

I’ve only used these for 2S and 3S batteries, but they work as advertised! They get a little warm, but nothing crazy in my experience. For the size, they work well. It mentions in the instructions that the rate of discharge is determined by how warm they get. I leave mine poked though the charging hole in my lipo bag so they are exposed to fresh air, and none of my packs have needed more than a few hours. I’d imagine that leaving them inside the lipo bag or otherwise unventilated would increase the discharge time. They are convenient for their size, but they have their limits.Only downside: the heatsinks are sharp. Both of mine had very sharp corners, sharp enough that I didn’t want them floating around loose in the lipo bag with my soft lipo packs. A couple quick passes with a file got them nice and smooth.

Yep. The StoreSafe is safe, and very clever, but too slow. I figured I'd risk it and buy it to at least give it a test. I am really impressed with everything, except the fact that this is not a practical way to discharge my fully charged 4S FPV Drone batteries. To bring a 1300mah 4S1P down to 3.8V per cell, it would take 8 hours or more. The good news are that the heatsink does not get hot enough that it could burn something that it is touching (wood/plastic/cloth); and it is smart enough to know what size battery it is discharging and when to stop discharging. The logic programmed into the little board is excellent, the LED indicators are very bright, and the whole thing is strong and looks like it could take a beating. It is extremely compact so it's easy to leave it attached to a Lipo while in a lipo bag, etc. I will probably use these little gadgets to further discharge packs that are close to 3.8V per cell only as I do not want to wait half a day to discharge my full packs. For that I have a proper charging/discharging setup. One last thing to note: a StoreSafe does NOT balance the cells in your Lipo. In my tests with healthy lipos, it was very good at keeping cell voltages even all the way down to Storage Voltage. Your results will depend on the individual health of each cell and how far apart their voltage is when you connect the StoreSafe device. Overall it is a great value and a clever execution for somebody that understands its limitation (speed).

Takes days to discharge a battery ?? maybe my expectations were too high

This is one of the most amazing products I've found in a long time. It does exactly what they say it will. It helps your batteries sooo much & saves there ability to work for a long time to come. I plain to buy more soon. I only wish they had other options for this exact battery saver. I mean different plug types, they have them for the XT-60 & XT-30 plug types. Just not for any other battery plug types (that ive been able to find so far) If someone reads this & know of other ones of this brand that can be used on other plugs please fell free to find a way to get ahold of me or leave comment on mine just any way you can think of lol. I think its well worth the price easily. The description of the product is right on. And anyone can use this without any problems, all you do is plug-in & that's it. But be sure to read instructions due to the amount if battery power you need to have to put it on. Not suree if that's the greatest words to use but shows that you need to read instructions to be sure your doing what is asked. Great product!

I'm trying to take better care of my LiPo battery packs for my R/C airplanes, and my current chargers don't have a discharge capability. These do the job, discharge to 1/2 capacity (typically 58%) and stop. My new packs haven't puffed and are holding up well so far this summer. I have had some issues where I plug them in to a fully charged pack, and the LEDs go out after several minutes, when I know the pack has not been full discharged. Unplugging them, waiting for a few seconds, and plugging them back does the trick. I've left them on for a few days after the LEDs have gone out and the pack reads 58% the next time I go to charge it. I've used these on 2S, 3S, and 4S packs and they always get the cell count right. I used them to condition a new packs, charging it, and discharging it several times before putting it in service.
