Very disappointed that this spring advertised as compatible for a Brompton bicycle is not compatible for all Bromptons. The seller needs to be more specific as to what model it is for. As you seen in the photos, I tried to tighten as much as I could and I still couldn't get the clamp to go over the frame to tighten the hinge together. Once I removed the spring I had no problem tightening it up and covering both sides of the frame so hinge is covered with my aluminum clamp. I am asking for a full refund.

The plastic didn’t retain its shape and became useless after only a few folds. I bought two sets and the same failure happened twice. Don’t waste your money on these.

It’s smart, makes folding and unfolding of your Brompton bike a little bit more easy and fast. It has been in use for a while and functions well. It looks fragile but in use it’s not.

Die Federn passen perfekt auf mein C-Line Brompton. Einbau verlief problemlos. Die Zeit wird zeigen, wie lange sie halten.Update: Nach etwa 4 Monaten am Rad, funktionieren sie immer noch wie gehabt!

These are great to keep the brackets from spinning, However the springiness wears out after time. I haven’t had to replace them, I think I will 3D print them. Overall they work great.

After just after a few folds, the plastic is permanently deformed so the sping is compressed and doesn't push against the clamp. Which kind of makes it useless. Worked great for about ten folds.

The hinge clip does not need to be aligned anymore now that this clip is holding things in parallel.Due to the spring, turning the hinge requires a tiny bit more force since the clip spring is pushing against the hinge but it's not an issue for me.
