Timken have had quality products as far back as the 70's when my father used them in his business. they go the extra to insure a quality product at an affordable cost.

The only difference I see is the model number on these bearings is stamped on the inner metal ring, while the ones on my treadmill have it raised on the darker rim. Other than that it's an exact fit and function. For anyone interested, unless you're a pro, it's not necessary to buy a bearing puller for this job, although ring pliers are handy and cheap enough. Push the axle through the bearing you're removing into the roller tube. There's enough slop inside the hollow roller to insert a screwdriver at that end to keep the axle from fully entering the roller hole. Use a rubber mallet to tap the opposite end while the axle sits part way in the hole yet blocked by the wedged screwdriver. A few moderate taps will loosen one side of the bearing. Reposition the axle and work the other side, and repeat as needed. It took no more than 1-2 minutes to get the bearing out. Tap the new one in, gently, side to side with the mallet and use the axle tip to stabilize it. Then a few moderate hits to seat it flush.Easy job for about a quarter of the cost of replacing the entire roller.

My pool pump motor front bearing went out and once I knew the correct size, I ordered the Timken bearings. As a Technician, I use Timken bearings work wise, so I know they are good quality!

This bearing comes in 2 pack and it fits just like the OEM bearing on the pulley.Since the dealer doesn't sell just the bearing or pulley. You have to buy the whole assembly so with this. You definitely save a lot of money. The bearing is super smooth and quiet. It spins with the belt on with no issues or noise. Again just like the factory NSK bearings. Performs great and though there's no country of orgins anywhere on the bearing or box. Quality of way better than the Chinese made stuff.

A lot of people are upset that these are made overseas now, especially for the price. However, the quality is there. Even though they are sealed on both sides, I opened them up to check the bearing and grease quality (so you don't have to). The reality is, the grease is of high quality and is packed well. There is really no reason to repack them. However, since I opened them up anyway, I added some Lucas Oil super tacky red bearing grease. That stuff is the best!I fit this onto a Balboa 5 hp SPA pump, part 1016041. I had to use a bearing puller to get the old one off, but no big deal. For the price, it saved me the $625 the local spa company wanted to just buy and install a whole new pump. So, for those mad about it not being USA made, keep that in perspective. They are high quality. The only way anyone knows they aren't made in the USA is the packaging. So, I'm certainly not complaining about it. It fits and I've been using it for five months now with no issues. These aren't cheap China knock offs you can get for 50 cents, they are probably the best bearings you can get for the price. Sure, it's higher than some, but if it saves you from having to pull them again and replace them in 6 months, it's worth it.
