This kit has a lot of different options, which is nice. I got it to be able to replace any sort of nuts and bolts that I may not have on hand for a project. The storage keep keeps everything organized and easy to find.

I like to have bolt and nut assortments around just in case I need one or some to work on a project. I never look forward to starting something and then have to stop because I don't have the proper fasteners. That's why these kits are valuable to have in the shop. There are a variety of bolts and sizes in the kit, along with accompanying washers and nuts. They seem to be of pretty good quality with the nuts screwing onto the bolts with precision.

I ordered these to assemble a BBQ. The bolts that shipped with the BBQ were questionable quality at best.That being said, these bolts have well formed threads and are made of hard steel. The hex heads are smaller than typical bolts of the same size but this isn't a problem for me.The coating looks like it is going to hold up.As for value for the price, I think they are a bit pricey but for this type of application it would be worth it.

This is heavy duty hardware and it is super handy to have an assortment like this around the shop when you need it. If you had to buy these in those little plastic bags at the big box store you would pay 10x this price easily and the quality would probably not be as good. Very happy with this set. The case was well protected and arrived in one piece without issue.

Not much you can say about a nut and bolt set other than the quality seems great.Pros:The machining quality is great and threads are buttery smooth.The kit also came in a cardboard box for some level of protection which is a nice touch. (I have had to return a few sets in the past because the plastic casing broke in shipping)Cons:They are advertised as 304 stainless and do look the part however a magnet sticks right to them so do with that what you will.

This kit consists of the most common lengths of ¼-20, 5/16-18 and 3/8-16" 304 grade stainless steel hex bolts, nuts and flat/lock washers used in home projects. Stainless steel is the preferred choice when corrosion resistance and durability is needed. The thread taps of the bolts and nuts have no imperfections or burrs.-20, -18 & -16 TPI (threads per inch) are “Coarse” rather than “Fine” TPI.Coarse is used for most construction projects. Coarse can be “roughed up” and still work properly. “Roughed up” means threads can be lightly damaged or dirt and other obstructions can be in the threads. The same “roughing up” could make “fine” fasteners useless. Coarse threaded fasteners are more difficult to strip or cross-thread because of the wider thread, allowing for more material between the threads. Fine are ideal when strength is a priority. The shallow pitch makes them less susceptible to loosening from vibration. With less material to cut to form threads, the process of tapping holes is much easier.Labeling of the parts box is much better than other parts boxes I have. Both the top and inside of the lid are labeled. The outside label makes it easy to find among other boxes. The inside label conveniently identifies what sizes are in what compartment when the lid is open.This kit was a great addition to my collection of parts kits. I like to immediately have the stainless-steel size and length of hex bolt fastener I need when working on a project.

***FULL DISCLOSURE: Item was received for free through the Amazon Vine program in exchange for an unbiased review.***These flange bolts are great to have around for various projects. I did have an issue with some of the screws camming out and stripping, but that seems to be par for the course with Amazon-grade hardware. As long as what you're doing doesn't need you to torque down too hard, this kit is a handy thing to have around.
