Used this for my garage exit door which had seen better days. The frame and glass fit perfectly. Only issue was that corner of plastic frame was broken during shipping. Figured easier to repair than send back. Was going to keep original glass and just get a frame, but this package included quality glass for less than $40 or $50 more.

The window came in packaged very well and was heavier than I thought it would be compared to other windows I have installed in the past. Definitely worth a couple of extra dollars to get the thicker 1/2" insulated glass window. We did not have a window in the metal door to begin with, so I had to cut it out. I installed this while the door was still on the frame because I did not want to mess with all the (5) hinges on this door set-up. I measured the 23" x 37" square and drilled holes in each corner to start. I used a Sawzall and jigsaw to cut out the window to start with since the door was metal. I found it easier to use a grinder with a cutoff wheel on each side instead of trying to cut through the whole door at once. The window seems to be made well and fit nicely in the door. I did have to use some longer screws since this metal door was about 2 inches thick, but it worked out really well and looks great. It lets in so much light and warms the room much better than just the metal door did in that area. Thank You
