We got this robot vacuum to help keep up with the dog hair situation. It's surprisingly powerful, especially on the hard floors. The square design seems to get into corners better than our old round one. Setup was easy, and it's been pretty reliable so far. My only real gripe is the app is a little clunky, but overall, it does a good job.

I bought a UBPET always to have clean floors and no dog hair. Unfortunately, the sweeper is too loud to be used while anyone is in the house. I returned the sweeper

I have a very dusty apartment, but a weaker vacuum cleaner collected much more debris. No do not disturb mode - may start talking when you are sleeping. When editing the map I was unable to separate the bathroom from the bedroom.

I've always been hesitant to get a robot vacuum but my wife has wanted one for some time now. Well, I'm a convert. This thing is wonderful.It was super easy to setup. Just plug in the charging dock, pair the robot via the app and you are set to go.As soon as I turned it on and told it to start cleaning, it did a few rotations and instantly in the app I could see a large portion of my home's layout. The LiDAR is pretty amazing in that regard. Then as it traveled around, it slowly learned the other obstacles around my home.It did have one issue during the initial discovery, where one of the wheels went too far past the stairs down to the basement. The unit did stop itself from falling but got stuck and required me to move it. Since that first time, it's been vacuuming without repeating it, so it really did learn. Otherwise, it hasn't had any issues even with transitions going up onto carpet from the hardwood floors or down a pretty decent drop onto the kitchen linoleum floors.I'm really impressed with how well this unit picks up dirt and cat hair. With 2 cats, we'd end up with little balls and "yarn" like pieces of cat hair that collected mostly in the kitchen. Since getting this, we having had to worry about at all. The home is clean when we get home every day. All I have to do is a quick empty of the dust bin.Which leads me into the noise. I saw another review that stated it was loud. Personally, I didn't find it that loud. Yes, it makes noise, it's a vacuum. But it's definitely quieter than my manual vacuum. Plus, I don't really care that much as I run it when we are work during the day, so I don't hear it anyway. It also depends on which suction level you are running it at. Obviously for higher suction, it's going to make more noise. I found that the normal suction level seems to work great for us as I'm not finding anything left behind after cleaning. I also love that the suction level automatically increases when it moves onto carpet. It's been detecting that without fault and turning up the suction while on the carpet.Lastly, the battery. Yes, the battery can run down somewhat quick. The system does have to stop once while cleaning my home to recharge. But I don't find that to be a big problem since I'm running this when I'm not home. So if it has to take a little break half way through, I don't see the problem. FYI, I am having it vacuum each area twice, so having it vacuum a single time would probably get it done in a single charge.One last thing. My wife and I love the ears on it. Just gives it a little cuteness. We've named ours Rosey, after the robot maid on "The Jetsons".
