I went through about half of these nails and used them to attach some metal shelving brackets that were also black directly to the studs in an unfinished shed. I really like the look of the round head nails with the black finish. They look great when installed however are would seem to be the weakest nails I've ever used. I not only found myself having to drill out holes before attempting to nail them in I still found I had to drive the nails in with extreme caution really taking my time with low powered hits of the hammer. Even still I wound up having about 1 in 4 nails still bending and having to be removed and replaced. After that frustrating experience, I installed the same number of identical white brackets using cheaper and smaller gauge white trim nails I had laying around. I didn't drill a single hole and only bent one of them.

So far so good, these can hit the stud in a wall to give more support. I like the black color rather than the traditional silver nails. I have smaller ones that when they hit the stud they wouldn’t out far enough to hang anything on, but these have a good inch or so (or less if you hammer in more) to hand stuff on. They are wonderful!

Size: 1-1/2 in | Color: BlackThese nails are about the size and diameter of finishing nails. The difference is the decorative rounded head which is slightly larger than that of a finishing nail. I should have ordered 3/4 or 1" nails but these will still work well for string art projects with thicker wood.

These have a nice aesthetic, the round black nail heads are great for projects where you want the aesthetic of nail heads. The heads definitely look good, no visible defects in any of the nails I've used so far, but I did use a layer of plywood between the head of the nail and my hammer when driving them so the hammer wouldn't chip any of the paint. All in all, they're nails, they work as nails, if you just need nails and don't care about the aesthetic, there's no need for these, but if you want the look of black nails, these are great.

We hang a lot of art, and I always worry that our thin little nails won't hold it up. I was stoked to get these nails because they're nice and thick, so it's easy to catch the frames' hardware on.

I'm always scrounging for nails when I have a picture to hang so I got these so I wouldn't have to anymore. I like the length which is just enough to go into the drywall and have about a 1/4 inch sticking out to hold a small or light weight picture. They are solid and don't bend at all going through drywall. I can't speak for plaster type walls or going into wood. I am fairly confident these would be fine going into just about any kind of lumbar as well.

These nails are ideal for hanging various items around the house. They are long enough to penetrate studs while leaving enough exposed so you can hang your items. These nails aren’t the easiest to find and for 200 I felt the price was well worth it.
