We needed a tower that was a little shorter for our growing daughter. She was able to use the old one to climb up onto the counters. This one's perfect where it gives her just enough height to see what we're doing and even participate but so far she hasn't been able to climb up onto the counters using it. Very simple to put together and doesn't take up too much space

I absolutely love this toddler step stool. I have several toddler step stools that I have acquired over the years due to having a handful of young children and this one has proven to be one of the best we have come across. It was super simple to put together and only took between 5-10 minutes. It is SO sturdy and heavy duty as well. It's plenty heavy enough to allow for lots of stability and sturdiness while still being light enough to pick up if needed. And the tall handles make it easier on your back when lifting which is great! The felt type fabric on the steps provide plenty of grip so as not to slip and feels good on little feet. The handles are also perfectly placed so that when my kids are standing on it they can quickly and easily grab ahold of them to keep from falling if they start to fall backwards which luckily hasn't been an issue for us. It's a great height too tall enough to allow my littles to reach the kitchen sink where others have been too short. Apparently, it can be used for potty training as well, but I haven't tried it for this use, so it seems to be pretty versatile. Overall, I believe this step stool is of great quality and would absolutely buy again if needed. It's built so well though that I don't believe we should ever need to replace this one. Definitely recommend.

I have my little nephews and niece over all the time, and they are all so very tiny. They always have trouble being able to reach the sink and wash their little hands. So, Aunty ended up getting this for them. It works wonderfully for them. It is very lightweight, so it is easy for me to carry from room to room. I like that the steps have grips so they will not slip and fall even if they happen to wet the steps. It also works very well in the kitchen when they want to help me cook. I would say that it is good for children up to age, maybe 5. But that really depends on their height. It feels very sturdy and doesn't wobble at all. The instructions were easy to follow and it was a quick assembly for me. I didn't have any issues with anything being misaligned.

There were no reviews when I ordered this, and I wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and found solid plywood pieces, the edges were smooth and rounded, and it was super easy to assemble. It's amazingly stable, too. I had problems with other kitchen helpers tilting or even falling over with my 3 year old flailing about on them, but this one is so sturdy and has yet to barely even tip. I weigh 185 lbs., and I've used it to change light bulbs with no creaking. It's not the tallest ladder, so not for the littlest of little, but it's great for my 38" tall toddler. If someone asked, I would not hesitate to recommend it.

Our toddler getting a little too tall for her toddler tower, so we decided to switch to a step stool to help her reach the sink for hand washing. The step heights are not adjustable, but it's still the perfect size for our 2 year old to be able to reach the faucet and wash her hands.Assembly was a bit difficult, because I couldn't get the steps to line up with the dado grooves on both of the sides. I ended up disassembling it and swapping the two felt-lined step pieces, and I was able to get everything to fit together the second time. Even so, some of the pre-drilled screw holes weren't perfectly aligned, so some of the screws went into at a slight angle, making them a little harder to tighten down. In the end though, the assembled step stool feels really sturdy.The product didn't come with any grippy tape to put on the bottom of the feet, so the step stool does slip a bit on tile floor. When our daughter leaned forward to reach the faucet, the stool started to slide out from under her. I ordered a roll of grippy rubbery material with a sticky back so I can cut some custom grips.One last thing that I noticed was that RRI Goods doesn't seem to have a product registration process, despite being a company that sells a lot of furniture meant for children. Normally, I would register every piece of toddler gear so that I'd receive notification of any product recalls, but I didn't see anything in the box or on the RRI website for product registration.Overall though, I'm happy with the build quality of this step stool. Once assembled, it feels incredibly solid. The plywood construction is very nicely finished with no sharp edges. It looks and feels like the type of hard wearing furniture that you'd find in a daycare.

My grandson loves this step stool. The handles are nice and tall and are a big help when climbing the steps. The stool is very sturdy and was easy to put together (just pay attention to the instructions). The stool is heavy to move around but I am okay with that. Very happy with this purchase. It should last for years.
