Looks great and works well. The thinner metal wraps around the post nicely. I just put on 34 without an issue.

I wanted a decorative cap for a mailbox frame I was building from 2x2" square tubing, and these were a nice look that was also relatively affordable. The cap added a nice touch, while still being relatively simple looking. Purchasing these saved me a lot of time fabricating something on my own, that probably wouldn't have turned out as nice.

They're steel and solid. But they come unfinished and covered in manufacturing lubricant. Must be cleaned really well before painting or the paint will peel. If you don't paint them they will rust. Also the edge if very rough and sharp from the stamping process, must be careful when handling.

Had to replace a rotted 2 inch metal fence post and needed a matching cap. This product is perfect. Tight fit. Tapped it on with a hammer and a block of wood. Will never come loose. Heavy duty, perfect design match. Good value. Just need to apply final paint. I primed it before installing. Me and the neighbor are happy campers.
