Description states cover is waterproof. This is a false statement as my bike seat has been wet 2 times after a rain. Evidently the stitched seams are not sealed. Completely worthless for the reason I purchased them.

We travel w bikes on car frequently. The seats underneath are dry and clean despite numerous rainstorms. And covers never come loose.Often I don’t even take covers off before a ride. But 1 yr later , they are only sl faded and still rain protective.

I needed something to protect my seats as they are in my small workshop. These are plenty large and will do what I need them for. I am sure that they are waterproof.

These are an affordable solution to bike transport. We have “Brooks” type saddles that don’t like the rain very well, with these not a problem. Material used for the covers isn’t bullet proof, but works well. Sizing is right on, not too big.

The seams aren't sealed so the seat still gets wet all the way around the top: Even if you use it to cover the seat while it rains and take it off when you ride your backside will still be wet.However, I used this mostly as a UV cover and a covering so I could slide off my bike seat when I dismount ('cause I'm not tall), and it worked fine-ish for the first three months. By -ish I mean the drawstring lock (for getting it over the seat) broke within a month (but a knot works just as well) and after 6 months the cover's material shreds, giving it a little longer life-expectancy than layers of plastic grocery bags but the same durability. It does look nicer than plastic bags, though.
