The design to receive the pole doesn't work. It won't stay in the hole because it's just secured with Velcro. Really awful design, but if you just want the flag and don't care about the pole, they work.

Got these right before I scalloping trip and luckily I bought the two pack because our friend lost his dive flag.

The flag is large and benefits from the stiffener, but does feel cheap in material. I am concerned that the stiffener may snap on a windy day, as it feels overly flexible. I also was under the impression that the flag came with a small pole to mount it, but it does not appear that a mount is included. Otherwise, both flags appear similar, with two normal grommets in place. Stiches appear well sewn, and the flag should last for at least one diving season.Overall, as a backup dive flag, it will do the trick, but I will use a higher quality flag for my primary signal when diving, as breakage of the stiffener mid-dive could lead to other boaters misunderstanding the reason for the flag.

We ordered 2 flags and both of them are defective. They only have one grommet pole hole on each flag.
