Used these on my lift to store EV cables, these do not slip down and the magnets are great. As long as you have good metal to stick to, these can hold quite a bit of weight.

Overall these are just okay. Could be immensely better if the magnet was strong enough to hold items as pictured in the listing. Might hold a broom or light electrical cord, but not a heavier tool. I ended up putting them in my van and hang clothes from them.

These magnets are very strong and durable. My husband liked them and used them to organize his garage.

Bought these for where I work. Nothing would hold the air line hoses up and these definitely do the trick.

I use one to hold many coats. So long as it has a good surface to connect to they work great!

The screw is so short, it doesn’t thread deep enough to secure the bar to the magnet. It took me an hour to get the magnet off the wall because the bar won’t stay attached.

Title: Disappointing Magnet Strength in "Heavy Duty" HooksI purchased the Large Heavy Duty Magnetic Hooks with Double Prong, enticed by the promise of a universal, strong magnet organizer that could be used both indoors and outdoors. The description boasted a design ideal for hanging heavy objects and utility tools, which seemed perfect for my cluttered garage and workshop needs. However, upon receiving and attempting to use these hooks, the experience has been underwhelming, to say the least. The primary issue that stands out is the magnet's strength, or the lack thereof.First off, the term "heavy duty" is misleading. The magnets fail to live up to this description. I attempted to hang a modestly weighted garden tool, something that should have been well within the purported capacity of these hooks, and was met with immediate disappointment. The magnet did not hold the tool in place, and it slid down the metal surface, eventually dropping to the floor. This was not only frustrating but also posed a safety risk.Furthermore, the situation did not improve when I tried to hang lighter items. The hooks would hold for a short period before the weak magnetic grip gave way, leading to the items falling. This inconsistency is a major drawback for anyone needing reliable storage solutions. The rubber coating, while a nice touch to prevent scratching surfaces, does nothing to compensate for the fundamental flaw of these hooks: their weak magnets. If a magnet cannot sustain the weight of the items it's advertised to hold, the product is effectively rendered useless for its intended purpose.Additionally, the "universal fit" claim falls flat when the magnet does not have enough strength to maintain contact with a variety of surfaces. On surfaces that were not perfectly flat, the hooks would wobble and lose their grip entirely, which was a deal-breaker for use in the workshop where walls and surfaces can have a range of textures. In conclusion, I cannot recommend these Large Heavy Duty Magnetic Hooks to anyone in need of a reliable hanging solution for their heavy objects and tools. The weak magnet has led to more frustration than organization, and I find myself back at square one, looking for a product that can actually deliver on its heavy-duty promise. If the manufacturer wishes to retain the "heavy duty" label, significant improvements to the magnet strength are imperative. As it stands, these hooks are a hard pass for anyone expecting them to hold anything more substantial than a few lightweight keys.
