These feel nice, but I don’t have the same confidence with the pull tab that I got gripping another manufacturers. The quality of the clasp is solid, you know they are closed and there is no doubt when you pull the tab and it opens; only concern is how long the pull strap is going to last. If the pull strap breaks, it’ll be difficult to open.Other than that, the quality of the metal clasp, pin, and spring feel good - I do expect these to last.

Works fine as a quick release for an SCBA mask for my fire gear. I simply attach it to a small carabiner on my coat, slip the mask onto the quick release hook, and pull the "leather" strap to release. It works flawlessly and I like it. I am not sure the pull strap is actually leather though. If it is, it's the weakest, thinnest strap of leather on the planet.

These were purchased to be used for dual-line kite flying and they work perfect for that. The construction is solid with sturdy metal used for the quick release carabiners and real leather for the lanyards. Everything about these is high quality. Given the low price these are being sold at they are a great value - highly recommended!

I ordered these for my younger child who is a firefighter. These two quick release mask handles are decent quality, and the quick-release feature works well. The metal part of the shackle seems to be well manufactured, with no defects. The leather handle though is pretty thin, and I can see that these aren't going to be long-term use items. I would bet the leather wears out before a year has come and gone, and we'll be replacing them. That's okay given they are not a high cost item, however I took away a star based on the thinness of the leather straps.

These quick release shackles are larger and more steady than expected. The PU leather pull tab feels flimsy and cheap, but I didn't buy these for the pull tab, and these shackles have held some decent force so far. These do not feel like they were poorly made and give me a sense that the hardware will last much longer than the pull. The 2 pack is perfect at this price, super handy quick releases to have.

This is a nice set of quick release shackles. Both of them work well and are sturdy. The leather strap makes it easy to pull open. The price is worth it for the quality of the items. I would definitely recommend them.

I use these quick release shackles on my anchor for my kayak. I fish in the gulf in areas with heavy current. I do not tie my anchor to my kayak in case the current is trying to flip me. Instead I use this quick release shackles on and a float on my my anchor rope. If I feel like I’m going to flip I pull the shackle quick release and release the anchor rope and I can go back and retrieve the anchor and rope. This is not the actual use for these shackles, but it works great for my purposes. They are made from 316 stainless which holds up great to saltwater. I think that they work well and have a very smooth pull.

This is a nice stainless quick release shackle. The tab is rather lightweight and I changed it out for a more durable one. I use these as a quick release for a dog leash attached to my belt. They work really well for this. For the price these are very good.
