I've actually ordered this bit a few times. I've used this bit a lot for my business and I gotta say it's a high quality bit. on my last order it unfortunately arrived damaged. So naturally they set me up with a replacement bit.... Which also arrived broken. nevertheless. I have used this bit before, it's great. Use em all the time to the point where I need to get new ones. Will definitely order again.

I own a CNC Router which requires many sizes of Router Bits to complete some projects. The finer the detail, the smaller bit size is required to produce that detail. The clock project pictured above is a good example of that fine detail. The clock is 24" in diameter however the cat tails and reeds vary from 1/4" wide to 1/16" wide. The majority of the clearing cuts were made with a 1/4" bit. The Jiiolioa Spiral CNC Router Up Cut End Mill 1/16" was used to get into and clear out the very narrow areas for the fine detail.I haven't used the bit enough to speak to the durability & longevity of the end mill. On this project, its sharpness left very clean edges on all of the cuts. It never overheated during the 45 minutes required to complete the clearing toolpath. The price is slightly less than I pay for comparable carbide bits of this size. I will update the review in the future if needed.

This small spiral up cut will be useful for fine detail work if you go slow on not-so hard wood. I know some people are saying they would use it on hard wood. I wouldn't unless I had spares. This type of bit is good for grooving or slotting, for upward chip evacuation and best finish on the bottom side of the part. It is made of carbide so it is strong but again it is only 1/16' wide so run slow with care.

I enjoy a hobby that requires using high speed rotary burrs to shape and define wood, plastic or softer metals (copper, silver, gold). This is a specialized Blue Nano Coated Solid Tungsten Carbide (TC) 1/16th" x 1/2" Spiral Upcut 1/4" Shank CNC/Router Bit with a very slender cutting spiral and sharp end. The blue nano coating is intended to reduce heat and wear. It certainly could be used very carefully on a trim router though it is more intended for CNC milling. For a precise hole this could be carefully plunged but as it is so very thin there is no doubt that it would break easily. I wouldn't try this bit on a handheld rotary tool as TC is brittle and the cutter is very small with no flex.I Recommend this Jiiolioa Brand S21A1G Standard Spiral CNC Router Bit 1/4-Inch 2 Flute Up Cut End Mill 1/16" X 1/2" X 1/4" X 2". Small bit for my tool shop; pricey.I hope you’ve found the information and my review helpful.

If you follow the chart for speeds and feeds you will be just fine. I only do .01 per pass on depth but I’m just paranoid when it comes to tiny bits like this. Better safe than sorry. Have ran multiple jobs with this bit in various hardwoods such as PurpleHeart, Paduak, Maple. I’m starting to see that the corners are shiny which means the coating has come off or corners or worn down. It’s an ok bit. Not great but not bad. Not sure why so many people broke this during their first use. It’s a tiny bit and you need to use it per specifications if not baby it a bit.

I am too afraid to use this on most materials on my CNC router. Works great on foam which is all I dare try.
