These rulers feel very stiff and sturdy, as expected!Personally, I believe the complaints about sharp edges are a bit overblown.Yes, the edges were cut to precision.Yes, you can probably scratch your skin against the edge of one of these rulers if you aren't careful, but you can also impale yourself with calipers or seriously cut your hand against scissors in one wrong move that are usually laying nearby.These are tools, after all. Basic respect for safety minimizes (but never eliminates) risk of injury.Please use proper safety and child supervision practices when working with tools.

Nice rulers just what I wanted imperial measurements only. 1/8" & 1/16" on one side and 1/32" & 1/64" on the other. These have a nice thickness and are sturdier than others I have bought. I haven't had a chance to check the accuracy but if they are accurate I will increase to 5 stars. They are easy to read.
