This size was perfect for my needs. I made 8 new pillows for our bedroom and used this cording. This is so much cheaper than buying small packages.. and I have some left for my next project.

It's a nice thick cord with dimension and will hold its structure. I used it for piping in some outdoor cushions I reupholstered. They are under a covered patio so I don't expect them to get rained on. The cord came off the roll and stitched into my prepared fabric easily (about 24 yards in one long straight stitch)

I bought this to put welt around outside furniture. The fabric is already waterproof so I wasn't as worried about that but it was about the size of a pencil in diameter so that is about the size I needed. It looks great on the cushions! Fast shipping!
