I used this on a briggs and Stration engine of a lawnmower without the filter. I had ordered the same part from a different supplietr(a two pack) and one had leaked. This order of a three pack one also leaked but I only needed two. I closed it and was able to blow thru it. If you need multiples of these I would spend the few extra bucks to get a bunch. When they work they work well.

No complaints, but shutoff could be betterly designed with mounting brackets built-in for those who desire a more permanent mount with nuts and bolts. Still a OUTSTANDING deal!

This is so you can run out your engine for winter storage or if you need to work on the carburetor. Do I need 3 shut offs and 3 filters but I'm not paying the same price for one when I can get 3 shut offs, 3 filters and hose clamps. Duh! Lol

It's a little tricky installing these as most often it'll be right after you filled the tank! The new hose clamps are larger in diameter than the old clamps and seems like it could cause an issue with leaking at the clamps if used. I reused the old clamps on the fuel filter itself because the diameter of the ends of the fuel filter are smaller and shorter than the stock fuel filter, which may cause leaking. The fuel cutoff valve seems solid in construction though some reviews have said the valve leaks, which completely renders this valve useless. The length of the ends of the filter are not as long as most stock filters and so there's not a lot of overlap of fuel hose on the ends of the fuel filter, whereas the fuel cutoff valve has plenty length and diameter, which would be best for sealing the fuel line. I just installed these so there's no test of time in my review, but from a MFG perspective these are the areas I'm reviewing during my install. Getting 3 fuel filters and 3 fuel shutoff valves and 24 clamps for this price is beyond a doubt the best deal on Amazon as long as they hold up and don't leak. Hope this helps!

Ease of installation, and inexpensive product that can provide life to an engine. I only needed one but fore the price I have units that fit other applications.

Very nice kit. The filter is small but not too small for most mowers or generators and the shutoff valve with the included clamps ensure a leak-free seal if your hose is standard 1/4 inch ID. After buying several inexpensive filters that leaked or were very low-quality this kit is very good for the cost
