Had a broken casting on an old Taiwan machine [14" Buffalo Mfg. Co.] I was going to make a new casting out of aluminum but saw this one for sale. Fit was perfect Just a light sanding on the edge and a little filing on the enclosure because of the set screw holder 5 minutes tops. works perfectly, glad I saw it because I had no hope of getting the replacement for a 30 year old machine to be honest. Arrived quicker then advertised

This fit my Grizzly 14" G1019 perfectly. I really like the extended handle, as the original one was short and my big cave-man hands had a little trouble grabbing and turning it. It looks like it was made well and was fairly easy to install, it was only about 25 minutes from when I opened the box to putting the blade on and using it. I only gave it four stars for value because it was pretty expensive for what it was, but there weren't any other choices.

To install the band saw shaft hinge assembly in my Ridgid 14002 requires a slot cut to the band saw body. The cut is to the left of the screw that fixed the shaft assembly to the band saw body. It was necessary to allow the shaft hinge to move upward when you are adjusting the band saw blades. The shaft hinge, in order to rotate and move upward when tensioning the blade, requires enough space to move. The assembly with this small screw hinge assembly impedes the upward tensioning movement because it was stuck against the band saw body. The original was flat, and it moves without any friction against the bad saw body. That's the reason to cut a slot to allow up and down tensioning movement. After that, the whole assembly works as it should. Now the band saw's upper wheel can be easily adjusted and is working very well.I don't know how long the assembly will work, but so far so good.

So my 20 year Ridgid BS14002 bandsaw finally broke. I overtightened the tensioner putting on a new 3/4" blade and BLAMMO it busted and pieces of cast iron fell everywhere. Within minutes I was shopping the Laguna 14 DX bandsaw, super excited for a major upgrade. On the side I thought "there's no way I am going to find a replacement part for a 20 year old saw that Ridgid retired a decade ago, but I guess I should look." And I found this. I thought "huh, that looks like the same part, but there's no way it's going to fit right." So I got it, and I'll be damned if it didn't install in 5 minutes, fit perfectly, and get that old saw running again. So 5 stars for being a perfect replacement part. One star for preventing me from enjoying a shiny new bandsaw.

I broke the tensioner on my old Taiwanese band saw and I figured it was dead until I found this. As others have stated you will probably need a new nut for the shaft that holds the upper wheel. Do yourself a favor and go to the hardware store and pick up an M12 x 1.25 nut to have on hand when this part arrives. Also, there is a "Pimple" on the assembly to hold a setscrew to keep the tensioner shaft from moving. Because of the pimple it wouldn't allow the rear cover to go on without causing a bind. I used a hand grinder and removed some of the metal on the rear cover. Problem solved. I also had to do some minor filing on the ears that slide up and down in the slots of the rear frame. All of this was minor and the saw was up and running in 30 minutes.

The hinge assembly on my Ridgid 14" band saw failed after 10 yrs of use. There was no OEM part available from the manufacturer, but a google search of the part number led me to this one. It's almost an exact fit - other users have commented that there is set set screw boss cast into the spindle that interferes w/ the back side of the upper wheel guard. I had the same problem - a few minutes w/ a jig saw and file (to put a square corner on the round access hole) created all the clearance I needed. The only down side is that this part seems to be the same cheap pot metal casting as the OEM. I was extra careful not to over tighten, and now run band tension lighter that I normally would - just tight enough to keep the saw on the wheels and tracking true during cuts.Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to buy as it as it shipped quickly and fixed my saw for $65. Maybe I'll get another 10 years out of it?

I could not find parts for my 1985 Ram-Machinery Model:0067 wood cutting band saw until I seen this. I believe it was from Taiwan. It was not a perfect fit but the closest thing I could find. With some modification it works perfectly. The tabs on the hinge assembly needed to be filed down to slide into the machine slots. The wheel axel bolt on the hinge assembly is the same diameter and works perfect for the upper wheel but needs a different size nut than the original(menards had one that worked) With those two modifications it will work perfect for you. My upper depth knob on the assembly broke off and I contacted the Hamilton tool /accura and they sent one immediately to fix the situation, so I am extremely satisfied with there customer service and with finding this part to revive my grandpa's old band saw.
