The tires on my 27 year old YardMachines (MTD) snowblower developed slow leaks this season. They're old, so I got my money's worth from them. Unfortunately, new tires in that size are very expensive, costing a lot more than I'm willing to spend on a 27 year old machine. Instead, I decided to get inner tubes for them. This inner tube fits well and it solves my slow leak problem. The stem works just fine, but it's bare metal and loose in the rim so you have to be careful while installing the inner tube that it stays in place. Also, be sure the stem points the right way in the rim.A helpful tip is to make sure the welds on the tire side of the rim are smooth before installing an inner tube. I had to file my rim down in a few spots so it won't pop the tube over time.
