If you’re like me, you understand that most of them will end up in trees or snags anyways. I hate overpaying for flies. These are good quality and good price.I’ve been fly fishing my whole life and I’ve bought this box twice now.

The bead heads are cheaply made and fell apart after a couple bites and many of the other flies fell apart after a few times using them. You get what you pay for.

I like how you get a verity of different flies like nymph and midges which I mostly use to catch trout at the bottom of the current. My setup that I use them on is a maxcatch 4wt 8,6” medium action combo with 4wt forward float line ending with a 4x leader. I find this setup cast very well these flies that come in this pack. I catch trout at the mountain rivers and streams and bluegills at the locaI reservoir near me. I recommend! I would buy again.

They are tiny nymphs, but that was expected. So far, the red nymphs have worked in the fall for steelhead and some resident rainbows. After about 10 fish, the fly fell apart, a well deserved retirement in my mind.

For a newbie angler like me this assortment of nymphs has been great. They're not top quality but what do you expect at this price?! To be honest I'v snagged and broken off more than I've seen unravel. And it's a whole lot less frustrating to break off when you know how little these cost.

Great lures for Trout and caught some Morning, Mid day and Evening. Great for beginners who need some help with specific nymphs for trout. lots for great videos on the Madison River Nymph Techniques very useful selection in this kit.
