I bought this item because I wanted a light weight and quality selfie stick for my Insta360. The description said it was carbon fiber and since I intend to use this skiing, it seemed like an ideal choice for a strong and stable selfie stick that would be light weight. The stick extends and is supposed to twist to lock. This feature doesn't really work well and it easily collapsed down upon itself when i didn't want it to. In addition it was flimsy at full length with a lot of wobble. I assumed for a price that was double the cost of a name brand one that I was getting quality, but that was not the case at all.I ended up buying an insta360 ski pole mount that came with the pole. Not marketed at Carbon fiber I expected it to be heavier than this stick. The truth was the name brand stick was 6 grams lighter in weight and way more sturdy and stable.I returned this stick and urge anyone else to avoid buying it over the name brand.

This selfie stick is nice however I didn't read the description, and it is not compatible with a phone. It needs to be screwed into something. It will work great with a small action cam or go-pro, anything bigger might be top heavy.

In search of a lightweight selfie stick for my 360 X4 camera to use on my motorcycle, I stumbled upon the perfect choice. This twist locking mechanism is a game-changer compared to the standard pull-up mechanism that comes with the original 360 cameras. Just a little heads up for all you selfie stick enthusiasts out there!

I ordered this to mainly use for underwater snorkeling trips. The CF was the selling point. Don't have to worry about rust when getting wet. It is compact to carry as a handheld wand and it extends very far. To be completely honest though, it would be rare that we would use it at full extension. I think it is stable enough to be at full extension for long use, it just is not something we would do though.I don't think you can go wrong using this selfie stick. For people that do more intense sports or uses, you may want to read reviews of people using it for that purpose. For us it is more general use. We don't have it on the back of a motor cycle, jet ski, etc. We use it for handheld purposes and snorkeling.

The product really is invisible (in the pics you take) but if I were ever going to want a photo with a selfie stick in it, it would be this one because the black carbon fiber is very attractive. It's sturdy, extends further than most would need, and has a nice weight at the handle to help balance the camera device. I found when filming videos it is incredibly smooth while tilting, panning and even walking or some combination. This is a game changer if you are an influencer on the go. Aside from wishing it had a shutter button included, I really wish that the segments would click when you extend it. You can turn them a tiny bit, but there's no click feeling or noise to indicate that the stick is locked in at the chosen length. And watch out, if you put an item on that's too heavy, it can fall off, slide the stick closed or even bend or break it (according to the instructions). It says its for specific cameras, but any device with a standard 1/4" screw inlet will work (*but check the max weight first)

You just turn the sections to lock and unlock them. The pole extends out to four feet tall. The camera mount feels solid. This is carbon fiber, and doesn't feel like it is going to break or crack from use. Handle has a rubber grip on it making it easy to hold even if it got wet. I'm impressed and I'd let my friends who are doing videos know about this stick. I'm rating this a five out of five stars for function. Thank you! -Mike

I have a small YouTube fishing channel that often requires that I shoot selfie footage or underwater footage on my GoPro. For years I have made do with an old ski pole that I jury-rigged as a selfie stick. I ordered this Salymecony collapsible selfie stick to up my game and that is just what I experienced. I love the compact size when collapsed yet it is as long as my old ski pole when fully extended. In my photos you can see that I used the three tooth GoPro mount with my Hero 8. Extending and breaking down the stick is very simple with just a small twist per each segment. There is a nice rubbery grip and the black color is mandatory (in my book) when I am trying not to spook fish and other sea life while filming. This would be a five star review but for two issues and one unknown. The first issue is the range of motion on the mount. There are times when I need to push the camera way back to capture action and the range of the pivot (pictured) is somewhat limited. Not a deal breaker, buuuut..... My other issue is the price point. Although there are similar sticks higher than the $47 price point, there are several that are considerably less expensive. I have got by with an ugly old ski pole (cost free) for years so this price makes me wince. The unknown issue is in regard to use in water and, especially in salt water. Much of my videography is in or around the ocean and there is no information as to the durability of the Salymecony in that environment. At this point I'm giving this product four stars for all of the good qualities noted above. I might potentially edit and raise it to five stars if the saltwater performance and durability turn out to be exceptional.
