Seriously, love it. I have been wanting a portable rechargeable work light as I am a part time grease monkey, and it seems the majority of those times are at night. So let's review this thing.Bright? Yep, 3 levels of brightness with the dimmest being "stare at the sun".Multiple mount options? Tripod, magnets that can hold up a chihuahua in chainmaille, and a hook.Battery bank? Yep, charge your phone or your portable speakers while working on granny's pinto.Strobe mode? No clue why it has it, but it does.Storage? The storage bag it comes with is actually well thought out. I mean seriously well thought out. Straps to hold the tripod in place, a built in pocket with velcro for the light so the lenses don't get scratched, the only thing missing is a tiny pocket for the charging cable and instructions.Adjustable lighting? All three heads adjust. I used it tonight as it was getting dark and I was redoing some headlight wiring to tie into the parking / running light wires, so nice being able to aim all three heads at my work area, and then later adjusting one head to cover the tool area.I highly recommend this product, it cut around an hour off my work time this evening just due to not having to relocate my trouble light or use flashlights. The strobe function could actually be useful in an emergency, and the battery bank and hook features are great for camping. I'll probably still carry my camp lanterns in the vehicle, but i doubt i will be using them as long as this thing is charged up.

The less on this work light are fairly bright, and the light as a whole can easily illuminate a dark room. Each of three led bars can be extended and then rotated into various positions. While this does make the light versatile, initially extending these bars is difficult. They snap into the housing and have no protrusions in which to grip the bar. Enough force must be applied, I guess with fingernails, to pull each of the three light bars over the spring locking tab. While the individual light bars can be rotated 360 degrees, they can only do so in one direction (ie, they can't surpass 360 degrees). Once the rotating mech has reached its limit, it has a stop and must be rotated the other direction to position the light bar past the stop. This is fine, and it's likely so the power wires don't get twisted up in the housing, but initially the rotating mechanism was so tight it was difficult to sense the difference between the stiff mech and an end stop. They have loosened considerably over time though. This light has two color temperatures, but it won't remember the intensity or temperature last used, which is my biggest day to day gripe with this work light. I can't knock it too much though, as most work light manufacturers participate in the unfortunate belief system that 6000K light is somehow brighter than 4000K light (and that 6000K light has viable uses outside of the haunted house industry), and don't give you an option at all. So for this light, my procedure is double click the power to turn it on and triple click to turn it off. This does have several intensities, and as a work light considering any but the initial full brightness will likely be a function of battery power (which is adequate). There aren't too many work areas where I want less light, still the option is nice. The 4th click dimmer option for freak out strobe siren is however completely useless in a work light environment, except in the rare instances it is necessary to annoy everyone in the vicinity. The rubber feet fall off the tripod and are only friction fit to a loosely matching key on the plastic feet. Don't wait until you lose one, immediately do what the manufacturer failed to do and glue them on... there's no reason not to.The tripod feet do not extend by pulling them, which is something I tried for a few minutes until randomly flipping the whole assembly upside down to find a button on the bottom labeled push. While annoying that this is hidden, if you have a good memory it will only be an issue the first time. Height of the tripod is exceptional for the price range, and extending the light to this height is simple and fast with the included friction locking tabs. These locking tabs are a great upgrade over other telescoping locks, such as cam locks (pool cleaning aluminum poles) or threaded friction locks (mic stands). The collapsed size of this unit is a bit over 2 feet long, but quite narrow.Overall some design changes, particularly with the electronics and missing three dabs of glue, would be nice, but this is an adequate work light. Competitors in the high output battery powered light market won't likely match this feature set or price point, so despite some flaws this is a good buy.

This AKOFUN brand “Rechargeable Work Light” sold by Solar edge is awesome. I’ve been browsing this genre of product for awhile at my local stores and while some may excel in certain specific aspects, none are even close to as multi-functional / situationally adaptable as this one.The light blades lift and almost fully rotate, they can be used in any combination giving you strong single direction light or good light in 3 directions of your choosing. There’s not like fixed positions in between min and max so fully adjustable. The magnets holds it well - even just a couple contacting a curved hvac pipe isn’t super secure, but it’s functional if you don’t bonk it. The hang hook is stiff to get out tne first time or two but improves after that and it’s nice to have it out if the way when not needed. The tripod is great. It’s not overdone and you dont want to throw it around given that it’s plastic, but it’s tall, super stable and functions smoothly with nicely done extension clasps. Nothing fiddly about it.The fact you can charge small devices with it too is actually pretty cool for this type of light where you might be in an emergency situation or in your crawlspace or attic and need some power.Oh, the bag is also perfect for it. The light has its own hook-and-loop sealed pocket and the tripod has two hook and loop straps to secure it so nothing is clanking and rolling all around in there.I recommend this light and think this is a high value item that really delivers and has nearly infinite uses from campsites, RVing , lawn and garden tending, vehicle inspections and installs, emergency lights or for home repairs when power has to be off.My immediate plan for this was for working in my pole barn where ceiling lights don’t cover as well like under my vehicle, or in my attic while I install more walking planks, but I’ve also found it’s great on the grill’s side-table for after dark dinners and it’s light and compact enough to comfortably hang from your belt loop across the yard or through a dark house or to get the mail late.It doesn’t remember the last setting. When I’m using it on dim intermittently off and on off and on and have to keep switching the setting it feels like that could be better, but that’s also how 98% of my lights function so it’s expected. One could say the tripod requires semi-flat ground since all the legs move together. A bumpy lawn or gravel drive is fine but this isn’t what you’d take, at least not the tripod, to say go fishing off a broken stone jetty with no level surfaces. For the majority of usual situations this will work fine if not great.Should my product experience change I’ll add an edit at the top of this review, but I hope this lasts for years of use.
