Leaks upon leaks, but if you use enough plumbers tape and or pipe sealant, not an issue.Chickens roost where they want! We found that our chickens where stepping on the sides of the dishes, tipping them sideways and causing leaks (55 gallon water drum fully emptied in the chicken coop... Twice!). Switched the dish out for the other nipple attachment that came with and it's doing better.Make sure to buy the pipe separately as it does not come with any and pay attention to the pipe size requirements.

They work very well. No issues. We lost our old setup during a freeze. Got these to replace. Like them better than the old ones. So do the chickens. They are spring loaded. The water flows in but when full the weight triggers the valve.

The ease is assembly is good but I would not consider these to be good quality. Within a few months, they were popped off the pvc pipes from the chickens use of them. Great concept and no leakage from what I saw in the beginning of assembly.

These will work HOWEVER...they are cheaply made and not very strong feeling. The nipples give my chicks trouble to get the water . I will not buy the cheapos again

Easy to install if you have basic plumbing skills. Our poultry love them. Glad we don't have to water them on a daily basis anymore. Just one more off grid must have.

Gave one star because no stars wasn’t an option. These are made extremely cheap. The plastic does not hold up. Less than a month and 3 have broken off at separate times, each time flooding my coop. It appears if you look at them wrong they will break. Would not recommend!!!

The package has almost everything I need. Set up cups and nipples with some pvc glue and 1/2 inch pvc pipe.I got a pressure reducing gauge, that reduces water pressure to make sure no water leaking even connected directly to water hose. A little bit reminder: Use standard SCH40 1/2inch pvc pipe and some Teflon tape would be great if you plan to build a complete water pipe system.
