These are excellent for quickly leveling the base frame of a deck.I was honestly surprised by their lightweight characteristics. I can see why they are not advertised for sheds or larger structures.As long as these are spaced reasonably close to one another, there shouldn't be any problems with the average deck install.

I’ve used deck supports in the past, both plastic and concrete, as they both have their preferred uses in differing situations. What’s nice about plastic deck supports is that they are so much easier on my aging back.One feature that the deck supports being offered by POPMERE have, is its spiral adjustment for fine tuning things (level) after you’ve tamped in the base material. Turning counterclockwise will raise it, and clockwise lowers it.The material the supports are made of is plastic, I have no idea what type of plastic it is as there is nothing printed on its flip side. The only reason I bring it up is because if your driving screw/lags in with a drill driver, then there is the possibility of cracking something, especially if it’s cold out and you go crazy tight.If you compare the footprint of the POPMERE deck supports against those I bought at a local big box store, you will immediately see a difference in size. The larger base of course is going to do a better job of displacing weight.The one oddity of these blocks is you can’t center a 4x4 or 2x4 on them. This places more weight on one side than the other. Maybe it’s a non issue, as the supports can handle more weight on one side then the other, it’s just I’ve never seen this before.Speaking only for myself, I would probably place these deck supports on a concrete flat pad for better weight distribution, or use them for sheds and similar type structures. Of course everything is covered in snow right now, so not much will be happening until Spring comes around again.

These are one of the coolest little handy helpers I have, now.I see people in videos using small leveling trays for small resin pours, but it's harder with a larger piece. Leveling a whole table or work bench is easy as pie with these. They're a lot stronger than I would have expected them be, being plastic.The unit works by having opposing direction threads on the top and bottom, so that if the center "winged" nut is turned, both the top and bottom "unscrew" at the same rate, as long both the base and the top aren't allowed turn, there raising the level of top platform in relation to the bottom. The top, square platform has a tab on one side that sticks up and has two screw holes for securing to a wooden post. The base also has screw holes for securing to the floor.These would be perfect for keeping a wood-post bed from "walking" around the room, if someone wanted the bed in the middle of the floor, and away from a wall, for example.It would be possible to use these on a series of free-standing or joined panels to create a movable fence or, if hinged panels, a footed dressing screen that would be adjustable to accommodate an unlevel surface and be more stable that it otherwise might have been.I've come up with more off-intent uses, and I think other people who do a lot of varied things would, as well.Very handy to have in my arsenal of hardware "solutions".

I really excited about using these. I’ve been looking for options that doesn’t include digging and pouring concrete and these are great. They are easy to install and attached to wood framing materials such as deck and patio framing. I spaced them and then attachwd them to the wood at the intervals I wanted and then secured them with rebar stakes of two feet below surface. You can then start laying your frames or other materials. I love diy ideas for ladies with practically no experience building or working with machinery and these are simply magic. They are made of super strong and durable plastic and are idea for guarding against rust, corrosion, and rot. Built a platform for my outdoor shed and these made the job so much easier. They are very easy to adjust to get everything perfectly level. They are lightweight but support the platform securely. Glad I found these.

These are not as large as what they seem in the pictures.The key here is that these are a three-piece construction. There is a base, middle and top section. The middle and top are threaded in opposite directions, so it can be a little screwy trying to make the adjustments.I like them and will be using them under firewood racks.
