This is among the most CONSISTENTLY PERFORMING flies in my fly box. Sunfish, bluegill, perch, trout (some sizable ones) have been caught with these and they are durable and well made. My 6 year old had a 7 fish day with this fly tied to a Keiryu rod. Many fish have been hooked up with this pattern.Can be swung like a wet fly, lightly manipulated Tenkara style, or on the dropper of a two nymph rig in a western set up. Very versatile.I really wish they brought these flies back. I could learn to tie them but these are so well made.

Great flies. Well constructed. Sunfish and largemouth bass hit these like a sledgehammer. Seem to be very durable with 10-15 fish caught on just one fly. These came barbless which is my preference.

Great fly. Normally a Birds Nest is my go to. This fall with the October Caddis hatch on this has been my go to with great results. My largest fish so far is a 20" rainbow on a Tenkara Rod Co. Owyhee rod. Great fun.
