This item was a replacement part for our grill as good as the original

Great fit, the plastic is more pliable than the original which is probably good because it seemed stiff/hard and broke within a year, it wouldn't flex as well when rolling forward/backward, but was still usable until now. Time will tell on longevity with this new one, but right now I'm a happy man!👍.

Easy to attach, but I would suggest to anyone purchasing to find and use larger head screws or a washer on the outside of the screw, that'll keep it in place after installing it, the screws provide can go through the hole in the mower frame where you attach it, it happened with my first one I purchased, and it got shredded in my mower blade.....🤔😐

This fit fine on my mower, but it did not last long due to the cheap, thin plastic that they used. Mine lasted two mowings and now I have to buy it again. Not happy. I DO NOT recommend this product

I used it on the rear of my toro mower. This product was sent with hardware that didn’t work very well, the end insertion part split. The whole product seemed more like a plastic than rubber! I will go with original toro part next time!

I'm so glad I got this trailing shield for my lawnmower. It was easy to install and it arrived right on time. Before, I had no shield and a rock flew up and hit my leg. Ouch! That hurt like crazy. Now, I feel much safer mowing the lawn and I don't have to worry about getting injured. Plus, the price was very reasonable for the quality. I highly recommend this product to anyone who needs a new shield.

I used the Trailing Shield to replace the original one on my 2000 Toro Recyler Mower. The original design was flawed in that when I pulled the mower backwards over a six or seven foot distance, the delector would get pulled under the mower. Eventually over the years it was well-worn and repeated strikes by the spinning blade put a large hole in the delfledtor. The Trailing Shield I receive was a flat version of the original so I can't see how it would be pulled in under the mower unless I lifted the entire back end of the mower up to allow it to be sucked in. But to my surprise, it did get pulled under the mower multiple times. I'm left with a thin piece of plastic with multiple tears in the deflector. No screws come with the shield. I had to find those on my own.I spent a few hours retro-fitting the torn-up plastic. I took an 16 inch piece of molding and screwed it onto the plastic deflector. I put bolts into the assembly pieces on each side to try to secure the shield to the mower. The molding should be substancial, heavy enough to prevent the shield from being sucked into the mower blade. I used a 16 inch piece... I should have used an 18 inch pieced to add more weight. I used self-tapping screws to secure the molding. I considered Gorilla-gluing the molding down, but once you do that, it makes it impossible to fix anything bad that happens. Most of the sheilds on Amazon have the same complaint... they all get sucked into the mower and chopped up by the blade. No wonder none of them got more than a 60% approval. I thought about buying two of these failures, then glueing them together. But I was afraid I'd end up with two shields with holes in them. There has to be a better method. I'm surprised at TORO. I have a Snapper mower from the 1980s that has a real metal deflector that prevents kickback of debrie back onto the operator. I doubt I'd buy a TORO again. I have a John Deere "rescue mower" I pulled off the curb because the owner couldn't get it started. No issues with that. My advice? Don't buy new mowers. Just keep refurbishing the older ones.

It was slightly large, so it was modified to fit properly. It works real well, and is a good product.

To say this is cheap flimsy plastic would be an understatement. I read other posts that it was cheap plastic and should have been fairly warned. It is so thin and light that it fell off and was chopped up by the blade the first time I used it, and I was even being very careful knowing that it was very thin and likely to not stay on well. Save your money and do not purchase this cheap piece of plastic!
