Physically works but is visible. It does blend in and is not as obvious as a hole.

Used to cover breaks and holes under the awning/eve of my roof on the vinyl trim. Holding up well. Adhesive seems to be doing a fine job holding it in place.

I purchased & used this product to cover 2 quarter size holes in the vinyl underside of a soffit porch overhang. As I had seen in the video, I painted the sheet with a color matched paint. I applied. it to the siding & was extremely pleased with how well it served its purpose. This product saved me a lot of money over having to have the entire underside of this porch overhang replaced.

The 6"x8" inch vinyl adhesive patches are easy to cut with household scissors, and my trimmed patch was easy to apply smoothly to my pre-cleaned vinyl siding to cover damage from my sloppy weed trimming effort. The repair has been in place for about 7 weeks, with fall temperature cycling & rainfall & lawn sprinkler sprays, and there is no sign of adhesion problems nor changes to the vinyl material. As my photo shows, the vinyl patch material is thin enough to reveal hints of the siding damage beneath it. Other reviewers were correct in suggesting painting over the patch for color match (the patch presents a definite gray tone against the white siding), which would also help obscure irregularities under the patch. But since my repair is on the side of the house & on the closest siding panel to the ground, I've chosen to skip the paint for now.
