Before purchasing, please see if the size in the picture matches the size of the wire rope
The screws on both sides of the clip are removable for fixing and loosening the wire rope, which is easy to install and use.
Installation is as simple as threading the wire rope through the hole with a screwdriver to fix the screws.
Keep out of reach of children to prevent accidental ingestion.

Not what I needed. Doesn't match the pictures or dimensions. I bought these to hold two 3 mm stainless rods a bit apart. From the picture, the holes look to be at least 5 mm apart. They've been moved closer to the middle, so now about 2.5 mm apart. To add insult to injury, the spec'd 12 mm screws are now only 10 mm long, so they don't quite reach to the middle of the new holes. In other words, I wouldn't try to use these on anything less than 5 mm cable. Also, very bulky and heavy. I have no idea what the "4 mm" in the picture is referring to.

Very bulky. Dimensions seem off. Bolts do not thread the entire length of cable opening so not good for smaller cables.

As advertised, but for some reason I thought they would be a bit smaller. My hood release cable had corroded by the radiator, and replacing it is pretty labor intensive. We used these to add a little extra cable to bridge the gap where we had to remove the frayed corroded cable. Only issue was that the screws butted the other side of the hole as a flat surface against the curve of the hole, and they are just long enough. The hood latch cable was just thin enough to make us worry that it might slip at some point in this small gap, and we would loose the ability to open the hood. So I bought some extra screws a bit longer that allowed me to tighten it down just enough more. This shouldn't be an issue for most applications, and you could always grind a bit off the tip of the longer screw to make it more of a point to more fully butt into the other side of the hole. Overall good quality product that served my purpose.
