I got these specifically for installing ceiling lights, fans, and fixtures, and other projects. I like attaching this loop to the ground wire of a ceiling fixture in order to attach that wire first. I never have a helper to hold up the light, so attaching this holds the light by the wire to the ceiling long enough for me to tie in the other hot and neutral wires. This method makes installing lights so much easier and less frustrating.
