Most of these rings were great and they closed tightly but there were 2 that I received that closed but any pressure at all(!) opened them. And even the other ones that closed ok, they all varied in how much force it took to open them. If you know nothing could brush up against them and open them, then I would recommend. The pressure it took to close most of them was great and they made a satisfying clicking noise. I’ve had ones that were so difficult to open and these were not that way-in a good way. I’ve also had these for a while now and they seem to be holding up well.

I used them on the cartilage piercings that don't get daily wear to keep them from closing...I leave them on even when showering/washing my face, & the color (black) paint hasn't come off...most importantly no signs of irritation or infection so far (2 weeks of wear).
