I paint, and like many artists, I’m a brush addict. I’ve never gone into an art store and walked out without at least a couple of new brushes. There are different brushes for oil and acrylic paint and, of course, watercolor. There are different shapes, some subtly different, some diverse, all creating different effects or used for different techniques or styles of painting. And then there’s short and long handle brushes, and the long handle ones can pose problems when it comes to storage. Many brush storage options are available for only short handled brushes, but these cases are thirteen inches long and you can see in the photos that they accommodate my long handled brushes with no problems.Because these set is a ten pack, I can segregate out different types and sizes of brushes into cases specific to them. That’s particularly convenient when I’m launching into a new painting and I’m looking for a handful of brushes to support the style and techniques that I’ll be using. I used to keep my brushes turned up in several large vases, but with no separation, it took forever to dig through a mixed bag of several dozen brushes of different types. The bonus was that these boxes also fit my watercolor travel set including brushes (in photo.). Now instead of having my kit bouncing around in a bag or pouch, everything fits neatly and doesn’t move around even when I toss it in my backpack.I can’t express my appreciation for these storage box enough! They’ve made my art life so much simpler and more organized.

Everything about it was cheap, 1 arrived cracked on top. Clasps barely hold anything. The don't stack well. Just not worth my time and gas to go thru with a return.
