The carbide cutters move around too much in the holder for there to be a consistent cut. Some cutters are so tight, they don't want to go into the tool holder at all, and others visibly move while I'm turning. For a cheap tool holder to get a job done, this is absolutely fine, but this would not be sufficient for any job that requires significant levels of precision.

The tool works really well and the inserts do a great job, I have turned alot of 4140 and 1144 and some stainless steel 304 and I chamfered with it as well, it's a nice tool for the price👍

It barely functions as the geometry is off. When trying to turn something the holder runs against the material. Took me a while to try it out so can’t return. I will likely take a grinder to it sometime to see if I can fix it up, otherwise scrap.

When I looked at and mounted, the tip angle pointed slightly to the left, as though the slot was mis-milled? I expected a completely neutral insert holder. Possibly just a one off but.........

As a precision machinist for over 40 years I can say this carbide indexable tool works as it should! The inserts fit correctly and the geometry is correct. The quality is good and the tool should provide reliable service for years.
