I tapped this out and put a threaded eye bolt in it to hook the gate chain to a scudbar fence section. It fit perfectly and stays in place.

The collars themselves are nice, the hardware you should tighten by hand. A drill will strip the hex bolts. They work better than the aluminum ones for me. Although I'm using 6 all together to keep the axle from sliding on my drift trike.

Mine can short 1 of the set screws. Not so much a problem unless they used a non standard thread pitch, which is what they did. Couldn't find the screw locally and I ended up having to tap it to a different thread. So don't loose any of the screws at all.

We built a solar panel rack that tilts wot follow the sun. I needed these clamps to make sure the moving components can move in rotation but not slide out of alignment. They fit perfectly.
