Well made not too stretchy, thick or thin. Did have a slight smell to it. I took out of bag to air out and smell went away within a few hours. I'm using for binding on various small sewing projects.

This foldover elastic has a pretty satin finish. After a lifetime of uncomfortable underwear, I've developed a panty pattern that works perfectly for me. I make some out of cotton lawn and some from pure mulberry silk. This elastic works for the legs and waist on both fabrics. There's enough on one spool to make 5 pairs. What a bargain!

This is the perfect solution when you require binding but would like a nice finish with no wrinkles.. this elastic is smooth with a nice sheen but molds nicely around corners to give a beautiful finished look on the inside of my handbags and backpacks.

Most FOE is narrower (1/2" to 3/4") which leaves barely any "fudge factor" when applying. This elastic is wider and much easier to apply! I made several fleece baby suits with a long zipper, and used this FOE on the edges with wonderful results. The color is super cute and the roll is long enough to do several projects! I sewed it on with my coverstitch machine, don't need any special foot, just make sure your fabric is fully into the fold of the elastic.
