Does what it says it will do. Just got done using it to remove and reinstall oil pressure sending unit. Hardest part was unplugging the wire to the unit.

This is a well built socket that should last a long time. I thought it would be compatible for use with any 1 1/16 inch nut or bolt, but it's not. It's different shaped than your average 8 point or 16 point socket, so don't make the same mistake that I did.

This is a very nice, high quality, oil pressure sensor specific socket (corners on the hex are rounded). It is engraved with the sizes on it (1-1/16" - 27mm) and made of Cr-V with a satin silver anti rust plating. Has indentations inside the 3/8F side for solid retention on a ratchet's spring ball detent, but also fits just as snugly on your impact anvil with a retaining ring. Has a 1-1/8" hex on the outside in case a wrench allows you to work better than a 3/8" ratchet.

This is the correct size socket to fit the oil pressure sender on a 2013 Camaro LS V6. The problem is that there’s not enough room to work due to a metal bracket being in the way. I ended up using a bench grinder to alter the shape of the socket at the back half inch in order to get it to fit. Even then, I had to use my smaller wrench, and my torque wrench did not fit. If I had to do it again, I think I would try a standard wrench or open end wrench first before trying a socket.
